Lions Lose Two OTA Dates

George Atallah, Assistant Executive Director of External Affairs for the NFL Players Association, announced that the Detroit Lions have also violated the collective bargaining agreement's rules governing "Organized Team Activity" sessions, and will forfeit their two remaining sessions.
The Lions were scheduled to hold OTA sessions next Monday and Tuesday, and then hold a mini-camp on June 23-25. Presumably, the mandatory mini-camp remains on the docket.
Detroit is the fourth NFL franchise to forfeit OTA dates, joining the Jacksonville Jaguars, Baltimore Ravens, and Oakland Raiders.
