Financial terms were not disclosed.

This year’s “Mr. Irrelevant”—the final player selected in the annual draft—Toone caught 206 passes for 3,607 yards and 29 touchdowns during his four years at Weber State. The 5-10, 185-pound Peoria, Arizona-native averaged 14.5 yards on 39 punt returns, returning three for touchdowns.

In 2009, Toone caught 83 passes for 1,109 yards and 10 touchdowns, and averaged 19.9 yards per punt return, return two 90+ yards for touchdowns (95, 90).

Toone’s skills as a return specialist are likely his key to earning a roster spot in 2010.
