Jets WR Braylon Edwards Arrested for DUI

New York Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards was arrested this morning and charged with driving while intoxicated, the New York Post reports.

Edwards' Range Rovers was pulled over at 34th Street and 12th Avenue for having overly-tinted windows. Police smelled alcohol, and Edwards was arrested at 5:15am after registering a BAC of 0.16 on a breathalyzer exam, well above the legal limit of .08.

Edwards caught 5 passes for 45 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's win over the New England Patriots, but was denied a gameball from head coach Rex Ryan after being flagged for taunting.

"I appreciate how passionate he is, but you don't want to be selfish," Ryan said of Edwards' taunting of Patriots cornerback Darius Butler. "That's basically what that is."
