Jets Sign LB Boris Lee

The New York Jets have signed free agent linebacker Boris Lee.

First-year punter T.J. Conley has been waived.

A 6-0, 238-pound undrafted free agent, Lee was a four-year starter at Troy, totaling 397 tackles, including 32.5 for a loss and 9.5 quarterback sacks. A three-time first-team All-Sun Belt Conference selection, Lee added eight interceptions, three fumbles, and three total return touchdowns during his career.

Lee signed with the San Diego Chargers earlier this off-season, but was waived on June 19.

Conley punted twice for a 40.0-yard net average, with a long of 52 yards, in the Jets' pre-season opener against the New York Giants on Monday night.
