The New York Jets made a practice squad move on Tuesday, releasing guard Chad Rinehart and signing center Cody Wallace.

Wallace (6-4, 300) was a fourth-round pick (107th overall) out of Texas A&M by the San Francisco 49ers in 2008. Wallace has been active for one game during his NFL career.

Wallace was waived by the 49ers on September 3, and spent two weeks on the Detroit Lions practice last month.
