Jets May Swap Kickers

The New York Jets will work out free agent kicker Kris Brown today, ESPNNewYork.com's Rich Cimini reports.

Jets kicker Nick Folk is 22-of-30 on field goal attempts, but has missed five of his last 11 attempts over the last three weeks, prompting the club to look at free agent kickers.

Brown, 33, is 256-of-331 on field goal attempts during a 179-game career with the Pittsburgh Steelers (1999-2001), Houston Texans (2002-09), and San Diego Chargers, where he connected on 4-of-5 field goal attempts in a three-game stint in the middle of this season.

The Chargers released Brown when Nate Kaeding returned from a groin injury last week.
