According to a league source, New York Giants restricted free agent Barry Cofield has signed his one-year tender.

A fourth-round pick (124th overall) out of Northwestern in 2006, the 6-4, 306-pound Cofield has started 62 of his 63 games in the NFL, totaling 156 tackles (19 for a loss), 6.5 quarterback sacks, and 7 passes defensed.

The Giants tendered Cofield at the "Second Round" level, which carries a $1.759 million dollar base salary for 2010. Cofield was the last of the team's restricted free agents to sign their tenders this off-season.
