Eagles Work Out Pair of WRs

The Philadelphia Eagles worked out a pair of free agent wide receivers on a side field during this morning's practice.

Dave Spadaro of PhiladelphiaEagles.com reports that those players were veteran Kelley Washington and rookie Jared Perry.

Washington (6-3, 217) has caught 107 passes for 1,327 yards and 11 touchdowns since being chosen in the third-round of the 2003 NFL Draft out of Tennessee by the Cincinnati Bengals. Washington established career-highs with 34 receptions for 431 yards with the Baltimore Ravens last season, and was a dynamic player on special teams (25 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 1 blocked kick) for the New England Patriots in the two seasons prior to 2009.

The Minnesota Vikings are interested in Washington, as well.

Perry (6-1, 180) caught 137 passes for 1,844 yards and 13 touchdowns during his four-year career at the University of Missouri. He went undrafted in 2010 and signed with the San Francisco 49ers, who waived him on Monday. Perry cleared waivers and is hitting the NFL workout circuit.
