Dolphins Terminate Randy Thomas' Contract

The Miami Dolphins have terminated the contract of veteran guard Randy Thomas, Omar Kelly of the Sun-Sentinel reports.

Thomas had signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins last Wednesday, and was behind Richie Incognito and Donald Thomas at left guard.

The 34-year old Thomas was released by the Washington Redskins on March 4 after finishing the 2007 and 2009 seasons on injured reserve with multiple triceps injuries. Thomas has started 143 games during an 11-year career that began as a second-round pick out of Mississippi State by the New York Jets in 1999.
