Danario Alexander to Visit the Seahawks

Undrafted free agent wide receiver Danario Alexander visited with the St. Louis Rams today, and will fly out tonight for a visit with the Seattle Seahawks, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Alexander caught 191 passes for 2,778 yards and 22 touchdowns during his four-year career at the University of Missouri. Knee injuries limited his playing time until his senior season, when the first-time starter caught 113 passes for NCAA-best 1,781 yards with 13 touchdowns.

Alexander earned first-team All-Big 12 honors after the season, and displayed a 43" vertical leap and 11'01" broad jump at the Senior Bowl. Unfortunately, he injured his left knee, requiring another surgery that prevented an NFL team from taking a flier on him in April.

Recently cleared medically, Alexander held a pro day last week in Houston, where Adam Caplan of FOXSports.com reports the 6-5, 218-pounder ran a 4.46-40 and 4.12 in the short shuttle.
