Colts to Sign WR Kenneth Moore

The Indianapolis Colts will sign free agent wide receiver Kenneth Moore, Steve Reed of CarolinaGrowl.com reports.

Moore (5-11, 195) caught six passes for 59 yards in 12 games for the Carolina Panthers last season, his second with the club after beginning his NFL as a fifth-round pick out of Wake Forest by the Detroit Lions in 2008.

Moore was waived by the Panthers on September 4, despite leading the team with 81 receiving yards on 7 receptions during the pre-season.

The Colts have been without Anthony Gonzalez and Pierre Garcon, relying heavily on Reggie Wayne, Austin Collie, and undrafted rookie Austin Collie during their 2-2 start to the season.

Moore presumably fills a roster spot that will be vacated when safety Melvin Bullitt (shoulder) is placed on injured reserve.
