Chargers, McNeill Agree to Terms

The San Diego Chargers and left tackle Marcus McNeill have agreed to terms on a five-year contract extension, Alvin Keels, McNeill's agent, announced on Twitter.

"Finally! We have agreed to terms officially with the San Diego Chargers on a 5 year contract extension thru 2015. Congrats @MarcusMcNeill73", Keels posted.

Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reports that the five-year deal is worth $48.5 million, and includes around $24.5 million in guarantees, not all of which is guaranteed for skill.

"Marcus is a extremely talented player, we look forward to him being an integral part of our offensive line for years to come", Chargers general manager A.J. Smith said on Wednesday night.
