Broncos LB D.J. Williams Arrested for DUI

Denver Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol last night, KMGH in Denver reports.

Williams was driving his Hummer when he was pulled over at 2:50am at Broadway and 9th Avenue. He was placed under arrest at the scene, the report states.

Williams was also arrested for a DUI in 2005, Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post notes.

A first-round pick out of the University of Miami in 2004, Williams (6-1, 242) is a two-time team captain and has 673 tackles, 13.5 quarterback sacks and a pair of interceptions during his 99-game NFL career.

Williams currently leads the Broncos in tackles (72) and quarterback sacks (3.5), and is earning a $3.67 million base salary in the third season of a six-year, $32 million contract extension he signed in 2008.
