Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports the Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to terms with third-round cornerback Brandon Ghee.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
A three-year starter at Wake Forest, Ghee totaled 154 tackles, including 12.5 for a loss and a pair of quarterback sacks during his career. The 6-0, 192-pound cornerback intercepted one pass during his career, and had 26 total passes defensed. Ghee also forced five fumbles and recovered two others for the Demon Deacons.
Ghee has excellent length and speed (4.39-40 at the Combine), and will compete with Morgan Trent, Pacman Jones, and David Jones for the Bengals’ nickel corner role. Ghee is also expected to be a core member of the Bengals’ kick and punt coverage units this season.
