The San Francisco 49ers announced the signing of sixth-round wide receiver Kyle Williams to a four-year contract.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

A 5-10, 186-pound receiver from Arizona State, Williams caught 109 passes for 1,626 yards and 18 touchdowns during a 41-game career with the Sun Devils. Williams also averaged 10.4 yards per punt return, and 22.9 yards on 31 kick returns.

Williams' father is the general manager for the Chicago White Sox, who selected Kyle in the 47th round of the 2006 MLB Draft.
