With their two first-round picks, the San Francisco 49ers have overhauled their offensive line, selecting Rutgers offensive tackle Anthony Davis with the 11th pick and Idaho guard/tackle Mike Iupati with the 17th pick.

Davis is projected to start at right tackle, while Iupati should settle in at left guard next to left tackle Joe Staley.

The 49ers moved up two spots in the first round to select Davis, a 6-5, 323-pound tackle with Pro Bowl-caliber potential, but needs to keep his weight in check and improve his work ethic, something 49ers offensive line coach Mike Solari and head coach Mike Singletary are well-prepared to help him with.
