The New Jersey
Well thanks to WFRV I got my first peek at the new Green Bay Packers jersey. My first impression... not too shabby.

I kind of had an inkling it would be plain, but that's the Packers. They're a tough, grind it out, working man's team. Can't wait for that game.
The New Jersey
It's growing on me already.

Awesome.
I really want one. They should switch to these as the full time home jerseys.

Love it. I need a Rodgers jersey so it's now a good time to buy one.

Wow. That was awesome! It's not "new" per se, but it's nice!

I'm sure Rodgers is used to the Cal State colors.

You know what, the uniform on a regular dude looks probably stupid.
On a linebackers body, the number stands out in front making the person look like a freight train.

You have to love these! They are a throw back to some of our first steps as a franchise and even some of the first steps of the NFL. With more and more jerseys in todays NFL looking like arena football crap this is nice to see. I know the front circle is huge, but you still have to abide by the NFL's rules. The brown helmet is a really cool idea too. I think these will and do look great.
For some people not sure... Just wait until Matthews and Wood are laying people out in these bad boys!
Nice job Packers! on the jerseys, and on the signings!

I don't care for them at all the throw backs they did in 1993 now those looked good.

Although I love "New Jersey", I hate the new jersey. Looks like a bad superhero costume.

I thought changes to any uniform were made because those involved came upon an improvement or something better each time. In fact, yea, that is the reason that uniforms were changed in the past. So doesn't that mean that a current uniform is several improvements better than one from 80 years ago? Yea, that's exactly what it means. Duh! The Packers' current design is one of the best in the league alongside the Cowboys and the Dolphins. It was never a step backward as in the case of the Chargers or Eagles. Yes, I admit there are examples of steps backward.

If the circle had a little wedge cut out...it could be a wheel of cheese! Actually I like the jersey. I don't like the helmets but I like the jersey and I think for some of the reasons you mentioned. But it is one I would actually wear I think...dunno if that says more about the jersey or me?

What in the WORLD are you all smoking??? This jersey release is more pointless than the dafting of Tony Mandrich! It is absolutely afwul and competes for "Most Ugly jersey in the NFL" with the Eagles and the Jets(Titans) throwbacks... keyword there, THROWBACK. And we're calling this new? I think maybe management should spend more time working on personnel and on field performance rather than trying to gain vintage style poitns where none are there to be gained. Seriously... I almost punched my monitor when I first saw this thing.
