Zach Tom and Tucker Kraft will start camp on PUP
In all the Packers have placed five players on injury lists as they ready to start training camp.
By PackerAaron

Earlier this afternoon, the Packers placed Donovan Jennings, Tucker Kraft, Alex McGough and Zach Tom on the active/physically unable to perform list. Kitan Oladapo has been placed on the non-football injury list.
Players on the PUP list can participate in team activities but are not allowed to practice. Players can be can be removed from the list at any time during camp, but they can’t be placed back on it.
The non-football injury list is for players who suffer an injury while away from the team.
Both Tom and Kraft suffered torn pectoral muscles during the offseason and are most likely still recovering. Head coach Matt LaFleur indicated during the offseason program that he expected both to be available for most of camp. The Packers are undoubtedly being their usual cautious selves here.
As for Oladapo, he missed much of the offseason work while recivering from surgery to fix a broken toe. Now it would appear he's hurt himself again while away from the facility. Tough start to the young man's Packers career.

Pretty sure we all expected this, but cue the Chicken Littles.

I'm sure this is just an abundance of caution. The Plan was probably on this many months ago and they planned for Kraft and Tom to start on PUP. I'm going to go out on a short limb and say they should both be ready when it counts.
That's a tough start for Oladapo. The good news is that it'll probably get better. He won't be hurt forever.

I agree. But why say it like that? I looked around and didn’t see anything about Oladapo re-injuring the toe he broke at the combine, or a new injury. Why even say “he’s hurt himself again” ? They’re being cautious with the toe. Period.

I just assumed it was the toe. I still assume it's t he toe. They're being cautious. That's the Green Bay way. I'm sure he's chomping at the bit to get in the mix,.

Toe injuries take a long time.
From Turf toe to Broken.
I remember a Wr the Broncos took.
The Packers took Adams.
Good Call TT - You were right.

Toe and foot injuries can be a real problem, because of the stresses involved.
From my perspective, even if the guy doesn't play a down for us this year, and takes an entire year learning and developing, it's still OK. He's on PUP, he could be put on IR....he's not taking up a roster spot. We'll still have him under contract for 3 more years, and getting 3 good years out of a Day 3 pick is a clear win.

Regardless how you might feel about Aaron Nagler, he has covered the Packers as a professional Journalist for local papers for years and held positions with national publications/outlets such as Sports Illustrated as an NFL Analyst. He still has ties within the organization and with numerous of his old colleagues who continue to work the Packers beat. It is safe to say that he might have access to information that you or I won't find in articles on line.

Truthfully I wish Nagler would get
the players and ex-players point of view more.
Their fans too. Let them do a little play by play.

Nags were you thrilled with the Oladapo pick? Wasn't he one of your draft crushes (so to speak?). Hope this doesn't delay his development too long.

Oladapo is a player I have high hopes for being a long-term dark horse. I think by year 3 he's a playmaker for the Packers.
