Brian, this collective feed is fantastic. Thank you!

*Does Graham Harrell really even make the practice squad? Sounds like a lack of accuracy (which was to be his forte when one doesn't have a 'deep arm'.) This gem from GBPG today:

"Harrell rarely looks downfield and almost always settles for a dump-off pass."

He won't get an NFL arm by being on the practice squad.

*I'm all for Bishop making a big 'push' and finally putting it all together, I want the most consistant player on the field that's least likely to compromise the defense. That being said, you can't read a comment section of a blog without this from fans:

"...he just needs more reps."
"...this needs to be an open competition."
"...Hawk is only starting due to his draft status."

Good grief. Did Bishop only get to attend a minority of film session? Was Bishop only aloud to watch a minority of the defensive installs? Did Bishop only get 'half' the playbook?

No excuses, he can step up when given the equal opportunity like he has every camp. Show it this year or your wish to move on will likely be granted.

Hear ya about 55. I want the best player on the field,if it's Desmond, so be it. But he's got to be more consistent. No doubt he has made eye-opening plays, he usually follows them up with head scratchers though. There is no excuse for him to miss assignments. No excuse.

I guess Chillar was playing lights out. I don't care if it's Brad, Brandon or anyone else as long as we get somebody in there OC's have to respect.

Didn't know where to post this, it's a training camp vid from Packers dot com.

Check out this offensive line drill, focusing on footwork and punch, at 0:59..

Anyone remember the first OTA footage of Bulaga that Bedard posted, and how far away he was from Clifton's footwork? How far away EVERYONE was from Clifton's footwork? Well, you can't see their feet, but you can see the results.

Bulaga and Clifton are the two last guys through this drill, and Bulaga's punch speed and lateral footwork are day and night faster than everyone else's.. With exception to Cliffy, but damn if he ain't getting close. This vid shows a great deal of improvement, IMO, for Bulaga since his arrival, and I'm guessing the young buck has served to help motivate Clifton as well. Check it out. Drill starts at the 59 second mark.

I'm an Iowa alumn, so I have a bit of bias towards the kid. That being said, he's very serious about his craft and unbelievably mature/level-headed for a 21 year old guy.

Also, he was fortunate to play agains the likes of Mitch King, Adrian Clayborn and a really good group of collegiate kids daily in practice.

Say it again, guy is 21 years old and serious about his craft.
