Throwback Weekend: Announcement Coming Soon

Cheesehead TV is proud to partner with PocketDoppler.com for a weekend full of festivities during Throwback Weekend.

In a joint venture promoted and spearheaded by Pocket Doppler and Cheesehead TV, we present to you... Throwback Weekend!

Revolving around the Packers' Oct. 16 game against the St. Louis Rams in which throwback jerseys will be worn, a couple events are in the works including a tailgate party prior to Sunday's game and a public tweet-up/social gathering at a local watering hole the night before on Saturday evening Oct. 15.

Attention on the season-opening NFL Kickoff event involving the Packers and the Saints is at a fever pitch. Once the game is over and enthusiasm has subsided, be prepared for exact times, locations and further details.

In the meantime, "Save the Date."

We put out a call for volunteer submissions to create a graphic for the weekend and were overwhelmed by the response.

A huge thanks goes out to Robert Greenfield, Alma Stanley and Jill Friesen for their submissions, all of which are fantastic! Look for these graphics to be used at the Doppler and CHTV in the run-up to the event and perhaps even a t-shirt available for purchase that weekend.

See them below (click on them to see a larger image) and stay tuned...

Oh, and by the way, make sure to tag all your tweets about the event with #ThrowbackWeekend!

I have a sneaking suspicion that I may have to find a way to get to Green Bay for this.

Who has room for my tent? It's small, so it won't take up your whole yard.

Logos look great - I hope to make it, also possibly with a tent and a keg.

Throwback Retro is the winner of those four- #2 wouldn't be bad if they'd used the circle-
