THANK YOU for pointing out that Bucky Brooks was picking and choosing his parameters based on the quarterback to whom he was comparing Rodgers. That was the big beef I had with his article - he never really laid a consistent foundation for how he measured each quarterback.

(The rest was good, too.)

The big beef I had with the article was that the author is actually paid to talk about football...

When you think things can't get any worse than Jamie Dukes, comes along Bucky Brooks...

Where do they find these clowns?

The loser of the Nagler/Garda Broncos bet should be made to get a pair of the appalling and ridiculous anti-fit jeans and have to wear them for a week (and they must be worn hanging low like teenagers wear them). I have never seen anyone, ever, look good in this fashion disaster.

I disagree that the Bears and Steelers will be good this year. Both are aging on the lines. Both have massive secondary issues. Plus CHI sucks at WR.

If CHI goes out and gets Rice then I'll be a little more worried. BTW how do they keep signing big name free agents? How are they not in salary cap hell right now?

"Both have massive secondary issues. Plus CHI sucks at WR."

Both had those issues last year and one team made it to the Super Bowl while the other made it to the Conference Championship.

Yes, and the Bears got every conceivable break known to man. That won't happen again. I think CHI will regress in 11 like they did in 07 and 04.

The Steelers are a year older on Defense - a Defense that wasn't young in the first place. That DL is O.L.D. Those LB's (for the most part) aren't young anymore. Ike Taylor (if he goes back) is getting up there. Polamolu is either great or hurt, it depends on whether it's Sep or Dec....
