The Good: 45-30
The Bad: Come back Ron Zook, all is forgiven
The Ugly - Chris Collinsworth is a tool and a joke. Aaron Rodgers honesty. What a howler.

I agree with Packer Aaron, if limited to one per category. But all in all, an exciting win.

CHTV seems to be morphing into a Packers YouTube channel.

Content is becoming more and more 'set up your phone and talk'.

As a fan of the more lasting and insightful nature of writing, it's a tad disappointing, but I realize this is just an evolution of media.

And if it's not to much to ask, if you could just mosey on off the grass, that would be great.

It is also disappointing that interaction between Corey/Aaron and readers/viewers is now almost entirely limited to YouTube, Twitter, etc.

You'll occasionally see a brief message from Aaron in the forums, but not too often. Al is pretty interactive on his weekly polluted mindset, thankfully.

But it seems like the website crowd has kind of become an afterthought to Aaron/Corey at this point (in terms of interactivity with the users). Like you said, it's probably inevitable evolution as the other formats and mediums become more prevalent.

Oppy, regrettably it’s an approach to draw in younger bloggers who prefer to watch rather than write. It’s also necessary to attract advertisers which is the revenue stream that keeps CHTV free for all of us.

It’s a matter of allowing audience to choose how they access CHTVs content. Like you and many others I prefer to read, post and interact on the blog. Others prefer to watch.
One requires to create and organize thoughts, the other just to watch but not necessarily to interact.

It’s not a matter of one being better than the other, they are just different. Thanks, Since ‘61

Generally I don't have 20 minutes to kill of my life watching one of these commentaries. I would rather read a few lines and decide to comment or not. There are not too many comments on the audio versions that I have seen.

Just because it hasn't been discussed much :)

Good - ST atrocity because now Packers will have to do something about it
Bad - MLF who was reportedly asked if Drayton will remain and he said he will.
Ugly - Gute/Murphy who are letting this continue.

or maybe

Good - Getting back to run game after ignoring (yet again)
Bad - Ignoring the run game yet again at the start
Ugly - Whoever allowed the run game to be ignored at the start

Just a crazy type game and happy that we won but don't know how many more injuries we could withstand.

Pacman,
Just what is MLF supposed or expected to say with a camera and microphone shoved in his face within minutes of game's end, "No, we'll keep Drayton 'till the end of the season and then fire his ass when the final gun sounds"?
What the hell can he say? Anything derogatory would be throwing the guy under the bus! I thought he handled that question the only way he could.

If this was just one bad ST game, then I agree 100%. But he knew this question was coming since the beginning of the game.

But at this point, it just has to be that Drayton is on the hot seat and everybody knows it and therefore saying something like "we are not going to discuss anything like personnel changes at this time and certainly not with the press. We are going to fix the problems." would be better than basically saying "I'm not going to hold the coach responsible for ST failures".

This was all for the public anyway. If he said this to Drayton personally, it would be even worse. It shouldn't have to be said - except in GB where they seem to have a problem firing ST coaches. It's not like he's had many good years and is just having a bad one - the argument made for keeping MM and DC too long.

What Packer fan is not deeply concerned that ST will lose a playoff game?

The Good- Another team win! Keeping the train going no matter what cars you're pulling.
The Bad- The Keystone Cops( special teams). The play calling in the 1st quarter. They just love the empty
backfield and ignoring the offense feeding off the running game.
The Ugly- The Keystone Cops again & their bungling ways. If this doesn't get fixed it will cost us somewhere down
the line against better teams.

The Good: AR--got carried away a little with the deep ball early, but in the end, his proficiency covered flaws in other areas....Lazard: People were getting a little down on him lately, but had a nice receiving game and a productive end around....Douglas: from practice squad to Pro Bowl, maybe?

The Grotesque: Very entertaining clown show from the special teams. Seriously, what is the greatest obstacle to the Packers winning--the opposing defense or our own ST unit?

Work to be done: Gute starting ASAP on special teams. Need 2 KRs, gunner, experienced coach to be given free rein. Don't know what can be done now, but maybe Gute can pull a rabbit out of the hat; there simply has to be someone out there who can be relied upon to at least field punts cleanly.

To be fair our coverage teams go against our return units Monday through Saturday, so there is that. Devin Hester is 39; I’m guessing he can still field a punt if he doesn’t have to move too far and not give up field position and likewise have the knowledge when to let a kickoff go out of bounds. Don’t care if he just falls down after every catch, just want to know when out opponents kick or punt we will end up with the ball.

That's a good point they do go against a subpar unit in practice. Playoffs are right there time to get this unit to average at least, don't cost the team wins with boneheaded plays. Has to be a returner out there, is Ervin available?
Good or great the running game even with patched up line
Bad, field position because of ST
Ugly: ST the ugliest girl at the dance and we have to stay with this group. YUK

I might get hammered for this but that’s ok. I’ve heard MLF talk numerous times about using the pass to open up the run game. Is it just possible that he prefers to open with some passing so he can get the running game going?

But to pass to open the run game gets you playing from behind.

In the early days of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an expansion team, after getting their asses kicked in a sloppily played and poorly executed game someone asked Head Coach John McKay "What do you think of the execution of your team"?
McKay replied "I'm all for it"!
Seems like a lot of people here feel the same way about our so called 'Special teams'.

The bares press is crowing how Johnson owned Adams….got to find a pony under all that horse hockey!

Actually Tae had his way with Johnson in the second half when he juked him out of his jock on the TD. Adams also had one of his best open receptions in motion when Johnson followed him and at the snap Adams flew free to right and got a first down easily.

The GOOD:
*** The Monkey has been removed, taken out back and shot. That being the streak of games lost after the buy week.
*** MLF's 3rd quarter adjustments then standing on the Bear's necks.
*** Aaron, Divante and A.J. had outstanding night.
*** The look on the Bear players as the camera panned the bench in the 4th Q. Demoralized and Priceless.....
*** Sending Chicago fans that were at the game back to "Fibville" humiliated with their heads hanging.
It just don't get any better than that.

Bad:
*** Defense lost a step in this game. One and a half or two clicks from where they had us believing they were and had us trusting again. Those big plays left bite marks. Cmon guys.
*** The field position(s) given up as well as the points by our own ST Keystone Cops. The Bears may have only scored 10 to 15 points in total if it weren't for special teams blunders that will likely show up on YouTube's "Idiots At Work" channel.

The Ugly:
*** The continuing Cluster F you likely have read about too many times.

********
The wrap:

Then there's Da Bears,
Like Lucy pulling the ball away just before Charlie Brown's kick; the Packer were trailing in Q1 and Q2, The Bears really thought they had this one and really believed they were not only in the game but thought they were going to win. This was their chance where they were going to make Aaron Rogers eat his words.... BUT,,,,, Right on que, MLF and AR pulled the rug out from under Da smelly Bears and their fans. HUMILIATED AGAIN... Man, that felt good and again PRICELESS...

The edge was fine, those QB runs were up the middle on extended plays, but they made zero difference. We were not employing a shadow or spy in this game, we have in others, and, in retrospect, that seems like it was a fair decision.

I think this is an excellent time for the rules committee to get rid of kick offs and punts! Joking aside, can we try bojorquez on kickoffs he’s got to have more power than Mason. Kind of reminds me when Longwell was getting older he just couldn’t kick the ball deep in the endzone anymore.

Take the win and move on.

Gutey will be looking high and low for ST's talent, and MLF will be mixing and matching.

We are pretty much what we are at this point. Though for the love of God isn't there anyone who can just field a punt? Cobb can't do it nor can Amari!

Good: I want to go with the owner of the Chicago Bears aka Aaron Rodgers, but seriously that 2nd half offense and play calling from MLF was a thing of beauty with Aaron being our General. That can win us a Super Bowl.

Bad: Our coach giving Mo a pass. Seriously Slocum, Zook and Mo is our 3 stooges ST version. I have no doubt that many of the posters at CHTV couldn't do worse at this point and will do it for less.

Ugly: Injuries. OMG please give us a break. Hope Turner isn't done. Haven't read any news. Kelly was admirable in backing him up, but please give us some injury good news.

Bad: Reading comments from these whiny little kids bitching and moaning about wasted timeouts and deep throws after a big win. Rodgers had a 145 passer rating and lead multiple long drives resulting in scores…good grief I believe he knows more than you, get over it. What timeout was wasted, tell us all? Time outs are there for a purpose and should be used when needed. How did any timeout used impact this game, tell us all, experts?
