Someone Get Me A Ticket To Green Bay

Seriously.

Dom Capers will be answering questions about his defensive scheme and Winston Moss will be giving a "Defense 101" presentation at Fan Fest next month. Lots of other great access to coaches and players as well.

Why do I live in NY again? (sigh)

I feel the same way living in Springfield, MO. I need to win the lottery dammit!

I saw that too. I live in Wisconsin, but I am broke.

Of course, I would have no problem doing live reports for tickets and fare. Heh.

Aaron, you live in NY because you can hop on the E train and zip over to W. 4th for a Mamoun's falafel and a coffee from Porto Rico Importing for an incredible lunch for less than 5 bucks.

Or you can zip uptown to the Halal dude on 53rd and 6th for some great lamb and rice.

Or you can take the train to Astoria and have some amazing Greek food (seafood... mmmm.)

Or you can go to Broadway shows, indie films, museums, ice skating, central park, the Staten Island Ferry (ok, maybe not the ferry, but you get the idea.)

;)

I would trade all of that to be able to walk out my door and see Lambeau.

Well you probably could if you were willing to work at Big Lots. You're probably overqualified for stocking shelves but I bet you could get on one of the registers.

Alright alright:
I would trade all of that to be able to walk out my door and see Lambeau....and support my family.

Better? ;)

This is probably a reflection of our repective upbringings, but it will probably take a very compelling job offer to pry me away from NY.

I'm just incredibly spoiled having grown up here. There was a time when I would have liked a slower pace, but I've gotten to the point where I can pull over to the side of the high way (metaphorically speaking), take a breath, and then jump right back into things.

I guess part of it is I like being in the middle of the action, but I also love the architecture (the new glass shoeboxes notwithstanding), the history, the diversity, and how incredible it is to walk around the city late at night by yourself. As Winston said at the end of Ghostbusters: "I love this town!"

Sorry, but I can't resist: Wouldn't you miss the beer garden?

Not as much as my oldest daughter. We had my birthday there a few years ago, The kids loved it and now every year - Daddy, when are we going to the Beer Garden again?

Start 'em young, start 'em young...

I can walk out my door and see Lambeau.

Would you prefer the couch or the air mattress?

Are the Packers having a hard time selling tickets to Fan Fest this year because of the economy? Last year it was sold out.

Aaron, we can't have everything. Given that fact, appraise your situation. You're a Packers fan who lives in the Greatest City on Earth. Imagine now being a Jets fan who lives in Green Bay.

Dude, you've made the right life's choices.

connie - I'm sure it's a combination of the economy and the Packers coming off of a 6-10 season...

Packeraaron,
Do you and Corey really want to go to Fan Fest this year?
Connie is curious.
