Report: Datone Jones' Injury Not Serious
Even though Datone Jones on Wednesday rolled the same ankle he hurt during the Packers' first preseason game on Aug. 9, it appears as if the first round draft choice may have dodged yet another bullet.
"A source said that the injury wasn't serious and it's too early to tell if he won't play Friday against Seattle," reports Tom Silverstein at JSOnline. "The big concern is whether it turns into something worse over the next day or so or remains troublesome all through the season."

To paraphrase the sources quotes; " It's not serious, unless it is." If the injury can get worse in the next few days or linger throughout the year - then yes it is serious.

I want to see Datone, Perry, Matthews, Neal all on the field on 3rd and long. Someone's gotta get to the QB in that group.

Time he gets his arse on the field and earns the number one pay. Perry needs to start showing something as well. I have Worthy as a absolute busts, Perry who knows, and I'm hoping Datone is a solid pick but who knows.
