Real Life Inspiration On The Football Field

The Wisconsin School of the Deaf has won back-to-back national championships and very likely will have a third very soon.

I know this isn't Packers-related, but I think it's worthy of a post.

I had the opportunity to write a feature article on the Wisconsin School of the Deaf football team located in Delavan, Wis. for the Janesville Gazette. It ended up being probably the most rewarding writing experience of my life.

With little to no fanfare, they've won back-to-back deaf prep 8-man football national championships and will very likely be voted to win a third consecutive title in November.

They truly are an inspirational bunch, and I think you'll feel the same way. Here's the article.

Nice write-up ...... Interesting note ..... They averaged 56.6 points a game for their 9-game schedule ...... Not too shabby .......

Correction - 492 divided by 9 = 54.6 per game ..... Being accurate is important.
