Let's see if you could chug one down at least as fast (slow) as AR!

Thanks in advance for tipping us off you will be asking about Graham at the press conference. Seems like a really cool guy and teammate, not a $12 Mil investment. Watch he’ll catch 2 TD passes against PHL as its his turn to be schemed open this week. Teams see Davonte tape v. min, MVS tape v Den, so Graham next? Then you have start picking your poison v the Packer offense when you prepare. Are the coaches that smart to show only what the want other teams to see so they’re really dictating what the opponent will do?

Since the topic is Graham...…

When Gutekunst became the GM, one of the big narratives was how he was going to be more active in FA than his predecessor, whose policy was "It's easy to make mistakes in FA and you need to be careful".

His first season, he signed Graham and Muhammad Wilkerson as FAs. Wilkerson was finished after 3 games. Graham actually had a pretty decent season last year despite a broken hand and dysfunctional coach/QB sitation, but he's started slowly enough this season that people are basically saying "not worth the money".

So what's the report card on Gutekunst's first year as a GM? Well, we finished 6-9-1 and missed the playoffs. His two biggest FA moves were not successful.

This year, he brought in four FAs, and only one has drawn much criticism....Billy Turner. Everybody else is still healthy and playing well, and if that continues, I guess that you'd have to consider Gutekunst as having a better-than-average first two offseasons.

Draft wise, he brought us Jaire Alexander, who's a real good starter. Savage looks like he's in the same mold. Gary and MSV look like they could be solid contributors. But outside of that...…..not a lot of help in the draft, IMO.

I know there's a lot of Gutekunst love here, but when I look at what he's done, I'm not sure it's anything to write home about.

You can give Pettine all the credit I suppose, but if the defense over the first three games isn't enough to write home about, there may be no pleasing you

Dude, clear your mind before posting. You’re either really stoned or completely unaware of the topics you’re discussing. Sorry for the honesty

Gute has completely rebuilt the D into which appears to be a dominate unit in 2 seasons. Something that Ted was unable to in 6 plus years. Theres no pleasing some I guess.

Nagle loves our defense now but he is teh same guy who defended Capers, MM and TT to the end of the world. He's a homer who just jumps on the bandwagon. His rants are devoid of real analysis or insights.
