I think the Packers are much more motivated to trade Rodgers than we think. With the cap savings and assets the Packers gain they could set themselves up for the immediate future, not 3-4 years down the road. They can strengthen their front 7 on defense which will keep them competitive while they overcome the loss of Rodgers on offense. With a QB friendly offense maybe Love and be a competent game manager. I agree on not missing all of the Rodgers off the field distraction, both during and off season.
