Hate to admit it, but I am glad we're not getting steamrolled by the Niners this weekend.

I’m not with you on plenty of promise. I think Doubs is destined to be a journeyman. He showed a little bit in the early season and folded. Watson is fast , fragile and drops a lot of passes.
As for Quay Walker…he ( in one season) has totally embarrassed the entire organization twice. If he even farted in OTAs I’d cut him.. regardless of his talent. The ONLY positive to come of his blunders , we now know MLF is a toy that the players don’t respect. Still haven’t read how the team plans to discipline Walker or Reed.
I think the future is bleak for this team with Mark Murphy and Gutekunst…. and by extension MLF.
It’s a soft punch me in the mouth and I won’t punch back team. ( although if we get frustrated we will abuse your training staff)
Just a totally embarrassing regime. MLF and his crushing season ending home losses.
Now Rodgers is no longer an MVP level player, MLF is on his own. How is anything in the future bright here.
In a nutshell.. Watson will never be a James Lofton. As great as Lofton was , those were terrible teams and years.
Give me a bunch of tough no name linemen and a GM that can go get them , over the head cases we have now. Including Matt ‘I gotta do better’ LaFluer.

Your assessment of Watson is bullshit! You could've said the same things about Adams as a rookie, with the exception of being fast, he turned out pretty decent..
