Which is why he will fire Joe Barry this off-season in the hope that he can continue to coach an NFL team into the future. Self preservation will be a strong motivator.

He’s relying on the head in the sand mentality being sufficient to use Barry as an excuse, when in reality Barry is a symptom of his leadership and is not an isolated case. Our leadership will make a decision that will speak volumes as to its competence if they let LaFleur hide behind Barry.

Unfortunately, no one outside Lambeau really knows who will be driving that call, itself a big red flag as to overall competence. This organization has a lot of questions to answer. Im not sure it’s even asking the necessary ones of itself.

I only wish I could gather my emotions enough to summarize what I have tried to put into words as well as you. Well said. I wish they would just cut to the chase already.

He will try but fail because he too is a loser and were all coming around to that fact. His honeymoon ended with the fans and now the natives are restless.

This team is reflective of their coach, in a word soft! Defense with all it's 1st rounders plays like they have all reached all pro status, sorry not a one on defense that brings fear in the eyes its competitors. They trade Douglas one guy that had testicular fortitude the rest are still waiting for the onions to drop. Ballentine, Valentine play hard no question the D line works hard but gets no support in the second and third layer. Stokes, JA, Savage all 1st rounders none have matched their draft status, JA one great year then has been telling us how good he is. Are you hurt? or are you injured? Fritz Shurmur would have weeded you out, and sent you packing. 3 games to go and defense is just horrible lead by a guy that can't or doesn't understand adjustments need to be made during games. Another QB this week that can have a career day against this group.

The bottom line for me and I agree with everything you said, head coaching is just way over his head. Its the "Peter Principle" where someone raises up the ranks to the point they get a job that too much for them to handle and they screw everything up.

Think about this. If the pack miss playoffs this year, and realistically with the holes that need filling on this team and only so many picks and no money for free agents, they could miss then next year too. Thus, in five years LeFleur and he has to take the blaim will have lost two play off games in five years, missing the playoffs in the other three.

IMO this would lead to a hit the door jack record and I think his days in GB are numbered. He worked under the coat tails of a good coach and came here with a HOF QB in place and a decent team. He has done nothing with it.

Adios Matt it wasnt nice knowing you.
