Packers Sign Speedy WR Terrell Sinkfield
The Packers have signed a receiver who blazed through the 40-yard dash during the 2013 NFL draft process.

The Green Bay Packers have signed Northern Iowa receiver Terrell Sinkfield, who gained brief fame during the pre-draft process when he posted two blazing 40-yard dash times.
The 6'0, 200-pound Sinkfield went undrafted this past April, despite unofficially running the 40 in 4.19 seconds at Minnesota's March 5th Pro Day. He followed that attention-grabbing performance with two times in the low 4.3-second range at Northern Iowa's Pro Day later that month.
The Miami Dolphins eventually signed Sinkfield on May 3 but was waived by the club 25 days later.
As a senior, Sinkfield caught just 43 passes for 499 yards and four touchdowns in Northern Iowa's read-option offense. His career numbers finished at 76 catches for 1,097 yards and 10 scores at the FCS school.
The Packers were in contact with Sinkfield before the draft, but an official workout was never reported.
According to the Packers press release, Sinkfield will wear No. 5.

He's too fast. The 49ers don't have anyone this fast, what a waste of time!

We need to sign players that our personnel scouts think have a shot...OL, WR, QB, K, P, etc.

This guy is a speed demon, hopefully he can make the 53 man roster and earn his bread in the kickoff/punt return game.

Anyone know if he can return kicks/punts?
Only thing I heard is he is fast. Looks like he has good size.

Sure, that's fast, but can he play football when the pads come on?
I guess we'll try and find out.

Fast is better than slow.
No need to tape a cheetah to this guy's back.

Too fast, send him to the 49'ers. They are the only team allowed to have speed.

Maybe they plan to use him to spy Kaepernick.
