Packers sign quarterback Jacob Eason
To make room on the roster the Packers released long snapper Peter Bowden

The Packers have added a third quarterback, signing Jacob Eason. The former fourth-round pick will take some reps off Sean Clifford and Michael Pratt until Jordan Love returns from his contract-related practice hiatus.
To make room on their roster, the Packers have released former Wisconsin Badger longsnapper Peter Bowden.
Eason had a veteran tryout during the team's rookie minicamp back in May. The former Colts draft pick has also spent time with the Seahawks, Panthers, 49ers and Giants.

Hey, thanks! It is kind of humorous to see the lack of patience and how some like to fly off the handle instantly. I guess it's just the world we live in, and my old ass needs to adapt..?

Not a good sign, as it suggests that the Jordan Love holdout might drag on for awhile. I'm surprised they cut Peter Bowden. He was considered to be the undrafted rookie with the best chance of making the team. Our current long snapper was kind of shaky last year.

Or it suggests that the Packers have a great opportunity to kick the tires on a player they had interest in evaluating that they normally wouldn't have, while at the same time helping to make sure there's enough balls being thrown to keep camp moving without putting extra reps on their #2 and #3 QB's.
In other words.. efficient use of however much time it takes to finalize Love's contract.
Agree with you on Bowden. Maybe Orzech turned a corner? Fingers crossed.

I don't know the agents for Jordan Love, so what I'm going to say isn't personal with them.
My concern is that obnoxious agents may lead athletes astray to places where the athlete wouldn't want to go.
An agent may be looking out for himself to an extreme, so much so that he neglects what the athlete wants.
I hope this isn't happening to Love.
We all seek out and even pay advisors to do such things as mending our bodies, fixing our cars, or managing our finances -- but it's essential for us to remain in control.
In sports, an agent may well forget that he's working for the athlete, not the other way around.
It's okay get a new agent.

To me got off guard with Bowden, all I read he was the future at LS. Guess writers know as little as the rest of us!

I'm glad to give writers credit for knowing more than me, but at the same time it doesn't mean they know everything.
Plus, even when we all have basically the same information, we may have various ways of understanding and interpreting it.
At its best, group discussion such as we have here at CHTV, gives us the opportunity of getting more information and differing viewpoints so as to help us do better at making up our own minds.
If we can swap comments robustly but also with respect and even some camaraderie, it can be a truly enjoyable and actually beneficial experience.
We can even razz each other as long as we don't wreck each other.
