Packers Reportedly Sign Free Agent Quarterback
The Packers had quarterback Nick Hill in for a workout last year after Rodgers suffered second concussion.
From a Yahoo Sports report:
Tampa Bay Storm quarterback Nick Hill announced on his Facebook page on Jan. 20 that he is making the jump from the Arena Football League to the NFL after signing a contract with the Green Bay Packers.
"Feel really blessed to have another opportunity to chase my dream of playing in the NFL," wrote Hill. "Signed today with the Green Bay Packers! GOD is good. Thanks for everyone's support."
Hill previously worked out for the Packers in December of 2010 while with the Orlando Predators after Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered his second concussion of the season. The Packers must have liked what they saw if they're bringing Hill back.
The "Nick Hill Football" Facebook page also mentions the alleged signing.

Does this mean Flynn is pretty much gone?
My bet is that TT franchises Finley and lets Matty boy walk.

I could say 'obviously'. You hit it exactly. Flynn can't be signed unless he gives something up, and the new guy - camp competition/arm.

I gotta think it is Flynn's time to move on no matter what. The details are the only thing left to work out. Too many teams are QB hungry for Flynn to not get a nice contract. I'd love the franchise and trade, but that has some risks that will need to be worked out, but I suspect the Dolphins and Raiders can now be trusted to work with TT....
