Packers In The Community: Divisional Round

Wide receiver Greg Jennings is selling football-themed t-shirts, proceeds of which will benefit underprivileged children and families.

Frequently overlooked is what the Green Bay Packers players and the organization are doing outside the playing field. In an attempt to bring light to their charitable contributions to the community and balanced coverage, we bring you this weekly feature...

  • Wide receiver Greg Jennings is selling football-themed t-shirts on his website, proceeds of which will go to the Greg Jennings foundation for underprivileged children and families. According to Fox6 News in Milwaukee:

A popular Packers theme for this year's team is now on a t-shirt. Wide receiver Greg Jennings came up with "come together". The idea came to Jennings earlier this season when they were falling apart, he thought, "We just need to come together."

  • The Packers Hall of Fame announced last week the Tundra Tales program, in which asks children to read 60 minutes per week outside of school for eight weeks:

Participants who achieve the goal will either receive two tickets to the Packers Hall of Fame or a tasty treat from Curly’s Pub (Lambeau Float or Cookie Skillet Sundae).
