Remember the Cheesehead TV sponsored #PackersFence located directly across from Lambeau Field featuring a painting of Packers’ RB Eddie Lacy as “The Incredible Hulk” and a shout-out to “Cheesehead Nation”? Well, the artists that painted the mural recently leveraged the popularity of their work into a winning entry for a contest to meet the featured star of the mural, Eddie Lacy. Spencer Young, owner of Forever Young Designs located in Black Creek, WI, and Zane Statz, owner of ZAS Designs located in Green Bay, WI, were one of 10 lucky winners of Campbell’s Chunky Soup contest that had the opportunity to meet the Packers’ running back this past week.

Mr. Statz and Mr. Young attended a private event in one of the luxury suites at Lambeau Field this past Monday, November 2nd. The event featured dinner, a Q-and-A with Lacy, and an autograph/photo opportunity. The artists were able to chat with Lacy and specifically asked him what he thought of the #PackersFence, which is visible from Lambeau Field and from where the Packers’ players enter the parking lot. Turns out, Lacy is a big fan! He told Mr. Young and Mr. Statz that he liked the artwork so much that he took a photo of the fence, had it printed and framed, and sent it to his mother in Louisiana. Mrs. Lacy now has the photo proudly hung in her living room!
