if there ever was serious consideration to moving Tom ..... do it now!
The Packers will be making multiple changes on the OL this year. It seems to me that this is the perfect time to move Zack Tom to LT (not center). Put your best guy in the most critical spot!
Then let the other 3 guys fight for the RT spot. (Walker, Morgan, and the rookie).
You are guaranteed to have a new LT this year or next. So Get it right NOW.
Tom is excellent at RT, but lacks the natural size for an elite RT. While the other big bodies actually fit better at RT than LT. One wins the RT job, one is the swing tackle, and the other (Walker) is traded or leaves as a FA.
