Remember the end of the regular season and the end of the vaunted match up between the Lions and Vikings?
Dan Campbell to Kevin O'Connell, "See you in two weeks."
So I wonder, did they have a playoff watch party? Who brought the beer? Who brought the snacks? Who hosted?
It had seemed the NFC pathway was going through the NFC North with the records of the Lions, Vikes, and even the Packers (despite the skid and fizzle at the end). In the end they all sported the same playoff record. Winning the division sure helps, it is the best pathway to reach the post season. But in the end you just have to reach the post season, hopefully be healthy, and play the best at the right time with some football luck on your side.

Everything seems easy until you find out how hard it is.
Campbell has been a HC for 5 years and has won 2 playoff games. O'Connell hasn't won a playoff game in three years despite a 34-17 record. Combined, these two geniuses are 26 games over .500 (LaFleur is 34 over).
These guys might want to consider slowing their roll a little. And next year....this year isn't going to matter much.

The nfc north will be another dogfight next year. The bears will be improved. I predict some slippage from the Lions and Vikings, and I don’t see any superior front runner. If the Packers make some improvements, we should be able to win the division.
Big Dufus Campbell will be without Johnson and Glenn and that is a big loss for the Lions imo.
Go Packers!!!
