Wide receiver Greg Jennings joined the crew at the NFL Network's "Total Access" on Thursday for an interview in the remaining days before training camp begins. Among the topics brought up was the Packers' running game. “The biggest question, I’m going to do a little self-scouting because defenses don’t prepare for our run game,” Jennings said via PackersNews.com. “Defensive coordinators aren’t wracking their brain, ‘Oh my gosh, we have to stop their running game.’ So can we sustain this high level of explosive level offense without a run game? It’s going to be interesting to see. I’m in belief that we’re going to fix our running game and we’re going to get it going this year. But that’s probably going to be the number one focus of us – us meaning us within that locker room that know we need to change something on that side of the ball.” Jennings also addressed last year's playoff loss to the New York Giants and answered the biggest question facing the other teams in the NFC North.

Former Packers wide receiver James Lofton will be taking part in the Hall of Fame Invitational on Sept. 27 at Olympia Fields Country Club in Olympia, Ill. "This officially sanctioned Ryder Cup event combines two of the world’s greatest sports and gives participants the rare opportunity to play a classic championship golf course with a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame," reads a press release at Packer Report. Rookie defensive lineman Jerel Worthy is listed as the 13th most-important Packer in 2012 by Jason Wilde of ESPNMilwaukee.com. "Enter Worthy, whom the Packers traded up in the second round to take at No. 51," writes Wilde. "While the first-round selection of USC outside linebacker Nick Perry got most of the attention, Worthy could have as much or more impact in terms of generating pressure. For while getting a complementary edge rusher was just as important for the Packers’ defense, finding someone who could help B.J. Raji inside collapse the pocket and prevent quarterbacks from stepping up to avoid pressure is just as vital." There's no doubt Worthy could play a big role in 2012, especially with several other defensive linemen suspended.
