He does...if the OL does there job...RT returning from numerous injuries is a ??? Hopefully LT does his job as well...We don't have the back-up starter WILLIS anymore...If the training wheels finally come off JL by ML. We should throw it 15-20% more with Jacobs out of the backfield running and receiving as well...We still have a solid group of WR's, TE Kraft , and Jacobs....I say this because it needs to happen if JL ever regains his top 5 QB talk like he was playing a few years back. We should be able to run or pass on most any team and the Defense DL hopefully adding another Vet will get the ball back more often...This I am hoping makes the difference for the Edge group as GB has had a Mediocre DL in the penetration department for over a decade...Get it done Gute...It does make me wonder how much better Gary would have looked if we actually made pressure at the shortest distance to the QB in the middle...It should be good...1 more Vet DL there GUTE...Our time is NOW..if you finally get this right and the OL can hold up...with some depth there as well.

Aaron, or anyone, what would GB actually save if they moved on from Jacobs this year and in 2027? And what would it cost us? Jacobs is a great RB, but he is expensive as the better RBs are. It will still depend on the OL getting better and staying healthy. Let's keep our fingers crossed for better health & lessor injuries this year.

If history is any guide, no he doesn't. RBs tend to top out at 28. Just look at the top rushers from year to year and look at how the ones at age 28 drop off.
