I do think this is a key draft and season for both. This class seems aligned to our needs. A great draft now could make a massive difference but it’s also possible that this draft illustrates that the Packers are misguided as to the types of players they need at certain positions: that we have become to inward looking.

We’ve had Gute and LaFleur for a long time now and it’s never quite come together. We are getting to the point where it’s time we had a team that plays beyond expectations and this draft is such that Gute is going to show us a lot about how he sees this roster.

Expect this season to test that particularly clearly, as we need contributors from this class and have unusually well defined locations for that need. That is set against a backdrop of a class where early contributions appear to be more realistic than usual.

Meanwhile, LaFleur needs to be getting a lot more from his coaches. We need to see development. There’s nowhere more obvious than the DL, the OL and WRs. This far in it’s long overdue to see players and groups develop into something more on a consistent basis..

The longer the two are together the more tightly Gute and LaFleur are linked. It becomes not a question of whether one is letting down the other but interwoven to the point of inextricability. Both need to lay down positive markers this year. Gute’s up first, starting this evening.

All drafts are important. I think the bears vikes lions have seriously out drafted the hell out of Gutt. You absolutely cant dfaft a Van Ness, awaljer and Wyatt and miss. Those were critical errors along with Alexander.
Make a mistake late round ya so what, first round kiss super bowls goodbye

The Bears Vikes Lions were really outplayed by Gutt. You can't just write off Van Ness, Awaljer and Wyatt and miss. https://sprunki-retake.lol

We hear this same old song and dance every year. Golden looks like he's another JA. All talk and then don't back it up, sign the big contract and then decide that going on the injured list is way easier than having to play every week. Guteys job is golden as long as he just makes the playoffs. Boy, you packer fans need to wake up and smell the bacon. You've been drinking the Kool aid too long. Having 20 yrs of Favre and Rogers and only winning 2 super bowls tells me all I need to know. You give those 2 QBs to Reid or Tomlin or Belichek the sky's the limit.
