Packers Coach Alex Van Pelt Reportedly Being Considered for Offensive Coordinator Job
Should Mike Pettine get the Browns HC job, I'm told Alex Van Pelt (Pack RB coach) high on his list as Offensive Coordinator candidates

When former Packers Quarterbacks coach, Ben McAdoo left the Packers earlier this offseason, some pegged Van Pelt as McAdoo's possible replacement. Losing both McAdoo and Van Pelt would mean the Packers would be out two offensive position coaches.

This really could be a HUGE loss? I mean, Rodgers was ready for an outside coach 2 years ago, and people has threw out names on posibles RB coaches if Van Pelt was promoted to QB coach.

Nobody wants those two team's offenses, and maybe their defensive coaches are still under contract.

Leaving Aaron Rodgers to coach Brandon Weeden would be anti-smart, regardless of money.

But I'd say there is about a 2 percent chance Weeden starts another game for the Browns.
Two high draft picks (QB and RB), a pretty good o-line, Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron. I could see the appeal.

Actually his family lives in Tampa so it won't matter where the rented house is that he sleeps in... Most coaches spend most of their time at the team facilities in any way...

Idc what coach leaves on offense long as Rodgers is qb this offense is allways gonna be good. He's well established as a qb in knowing how to run a offense. His technique,arm strength accuracy is the best in the game.

He's got one year left on his contract, so the team could block the move. Mike has in the past, and it would be understandable if he didn't want any further shaking up of his staff.

@JasonLaCanfora While Pettine had identified Alex Van Pelt as top OC candidate, I'm told he's agreed to stay in GB as QB coach.
