While you may have seen reports or online television listings showing schedule-release programming on the NFL Network for Tuesday, those plans have been put on hold.

Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com reports, "NFL spokesman Greg Aiello tells PFT that the schedule won’t be released on April 16.  He added the date for the release has not been determined."

Aiello was quoted as saying that the schedule could be released in the "next week or two" but was no more specific than that. There's a good chance the schedule will still be released sometime before the NFL Draft, but no guarantees are being made.

The exact reason for delay has not been explained, but it's likely as simple as some details still needing to be ironed out.

If you were planning on making hotel reservations or book a flight on Tuesday, you're just going have to wait.
