I have many concerns about Family Night. Will this be another year when families come in unready to watch football? How many seasons have we seen them plod in unready to cheer only to offer up another sad, slow start? Have they taken the offseason seriously and improved their neck mobility and visual acuity? How about depth perception? If I recall correctly, over 68% of Shawano County residents are nearsighted.

If we don't see an improved BMI index in the Family Night fans (looking at you Wade, Karl, and Ben from Two Rivers) I think we all know where this season is headed. You either prepare to get to your seat and sit or your seat traps you on the cold, hard concrete in the concourse. Or, maybe you don't even make it out of your lawn chair in the parking lot! Too many fans with character issues. Too few leaders.
