Packers activate Equanimeous St. Brown

Rookie linebacker Kamal Martin will have to wait at least another week before taking the field.

The Packers announced they have activated WR Equanimeous St. Brown from reserve/injured; designated for return.

St. Brown had been placed on IR after the team's Week 1 game with the Minnesota Vikings. The third year veteran was not active for that game in Minnesota popped up on the injury report the following week with a knee injury. This came after missing all of 2019 due to a high ankle sprain suffered in the team's preseason contest against the Raiders in Canada.

St. Brown played in 12 games with seven starts in 2018 and posted 21 receptions for 328 yards.

Rookie linebacker Kamal Martin, who also began practicing with the team this past week for the first time after being placed on IR prior to Week 1, was not activated and will need to wait until at least next week prior to making his NFL debut.

I was happy that the team was able to draft him later in the draft. Yet, he has yet to live up to his potential. Perhaps this is a new starting place for him to show his stuff. I saw him playing some as slot. If he is able to play without getting injured he can a big help.

Give him a break.
He's only had 7 starts in the 36 games he could have played.
He has played great when he's gotten in there, so it's not lack of potential, it's lack of health.
I'm hoping he has a huge game.

It’s time to get some return on the investment we’ve made in this young man.

This kid... I hope he balls out but I'm not counting on it.

I was friends with him on FB and a couple days before the Vikings game he posted that he was all pissed about losing a bag of weed, he thought MVS' dog may have got to it. Anyway, I simply chimed in that he should consider getting his head on straight as he spent last year on IR, had a baby on the way and a new season was about to start. He abruptly unfriended me, which I knew he would before I hit submit on my comment. Seeing his posts it seemed like he had a lot going on off the field, I think he and his baby's momma broke up and got back together about 5 times in the short time I followed him and all the sudden she was pregnant.

I wish him luck, maybe he can compartmentalize. FIIK
