Notes From Brett Favre's Packers HOF Press Conference
Frankie Winters and Brett Favre spoke at a press conference this afternoon, in advance of Favre's induction into the Packers Hall of Fame.

Brett Favre spoke with reporters for roughly 30 minutes this afternoon in advance of the Packers putting him in the organization's Hall of Fame.
Here are some takeaways.
- Favre spent a good deal of the time giving credit for his success to Mike Holmgren and Ron Wolf.
- He said the Lambeau bowl selling out in less than 2 hours was a bigger honor than having his number retired or going into the Packers Hall of Fame. He mentioned the special bond the Packers share with their fans numerous times.
- Favre said Reggie White was the greatest player he ever played with, even after playing with greats such as Deion Sanders and Charles Woodson.
- One thing he mentioned that absolutely made my heart sing was that quarterbacks "shouldn't be labeled with wins and losses." Amen, Brett. Win/Loss records are not a quarterback stat.
- Prior to Brett speaking and taking questions, both Ron Wolf and Bob Harlan said in their own ways that Favre was the greatest/best player the Packers have ever had. Obviously, as I've said here numerous times, I don't agree with that sentiment. But it's hard to fault Harlan and Wolf for thinking so.
- Favre said there have been no discussions regarding how often he will return to Green Bay in the future, but he kept the door open to the possibility.
- He also talked about being back at Lambeau and feeling like he never left. He said it didn't hit him until he walked off the field and into the tunnel, but the moment he did, it felt like his usual routine.
- Much like Wolf praised him, Favre called Ron "the best GM in football."
Tonight's festivities will be special. You can watch them on NBC in the Green Bay area, on NFL Network nationally, or watch a livestream at Packers.com.
