Great projection, in my opinion. I think we'll see So'oto get a lot of time at starting OLB opposite Matthews in the regular season.

No MD Jennings, Josh Gordy, or Brandian Ross? I think one more DB will make the team, not sure which one though..

Im sorry, but Pat Lee has got to go. I also would not mind seeing Brad Jones leave with the recent emergence of So'oto. Jones doesn't really bring much to the table. Even cutting one of those guys would free up space for Gurley or West. I would prefer Gurley simply for his size.

The only change I would make would be to drop Underwood and keep Gurley. I like the decision to only keep 8 o linemen. McDonald, Dominguez and Schlauteraff really have not shown that they are worth keeping on the roster.

First thing I would do is trade James jones. Then I would keep gurley and west. Keep Quinn Johnson. Cut Jared bush. Cut underwood. Cut brad jones and possibly zombo

So one bad snap is enough for McDonald to lose his job? I still think he's better and more versatile than EDS. I doubt the Packers only keep 8 if it means cutting him.

Regarding the execution of the second-team offensive line...

Looks like a contender all around. However, what about the idea of keeping Quinn Johnson given the heavy use of the inverted wishbone? While I could see Kuhn and Crabtree/Quarless serving as the FBs in that scheme and providing matchup problems for opposing DC's, I don't see that formation having the same running game 'thump' that it may with Johnson in there. I say that having missed a couple of preseason games, so if Johnson has played poorly please forgive my foolishness.

Dang this is going to be tough.

I could see them cutting B. Jones in exchange for an OL or Gurley or Q. Johnson. It would please me if they kept the better starting special teams player over the better potential back up.

We've seen from last year Capers can patch it up.

IMO, Wynn looks in better shape this year as compared to last. His play seems improved as well. If Neal can stay healthy, then I think the dLine will be OK.

Which leaves the biggest weakness on the club: the oLine. How can they perform miracles at so many other positions, and not come up with an oLine?

This might seem a tad unorthodox -- ;) -- but I think I would start the 6th and 7th best lineman, and put Sitton and Bulaga in the backfield, to protect Rodgers.

Besides Grant or James Jones (we need both you knuckleheads) :), do you guys think that we have anyone that we would/should think about trading in order to shore up the OL?

If they always keep 9 OL I didn't see 7 worth keeping during this preseason...

Im on the fence with DJ Williams. His blocking was atrocious tonight. He was also easily mugged. I think Johnson stays Williams goes. Also think Schlauderaff stays.

They could try to sneak Schlauderaff onto the PS replacing Campbell in order to get Crabtree on the roster as well, but since that's a risky move I'm going with this.

I would keep Lattimore over Brad Jones Gordy over Pat Lee and MD Jennings over Underwood.

By keeping Francois who can play ILB and OLB, Brad Jones becomes expendable as Lattimore has more upside.

Pat Lee like Brad Jones just hasn't shown me the improvement you expect from guys with their experience. Time for some new blood in there.

I chose MD Jennings over Underwood because I believe Jennings can play some CB too if needed and he makes plays on STs. I don't hate Underwood as a player, I just like Jennings better.

Right now im struggling with keeping DJ Williams over Tori Gurley. Williams is just so slow he doesn't get any separation even from LBers. Gurley offers more on STs and more as a receiver right now. I doubt either guy makes it to our PS so its a tough call on who I would rather lose to another team.

One guy nobody is talking about is ILB DJ Smith. This guy is a sleeper and is going to shock people when he gets his chance. He doesn't miss a tackle and he makes a special teams impact as well. He's very instinctive. I feel like he will need a little work in coverage, but most LB's do. If Hawk or Bishop go down, we'll be completely fine with DJ Smith.

I like it Aaron, save for one thing. No Chastin West. Would be tough to see him go. Everything else looks great.

I agree with Aaron 53 except for one position/Player. I say they only keep 4 OLB and that spot goes to which ever position has the best special teams player. So maybe an extra WR or and extra DB. Brad Jones will not make the 53

TT keeps the best 53 so I agree w/ you re the 8 linemen. No other OL played themselves onto the squad. TT may bring in a cut player or trade for an OL or OLB. I know he loves his draft picks but he may have 11 next year. I think B. Jones is gone and I don't think they can wait 2 months for Zombo to heal.
Though I don't think he makes the roster Cardia Jackson helped his cause last night.

I think that if they keep 5 TEs, it means they don't really want to pay Finley. If they keep 4 or even (gasp) 3, they will make him a great offer. I just think that keeping 5 TEs when you'll only have 3 active at most on game day is silly.

Surprised everyone seems ok with keeping Harrell. He's a wasted roster spot IMO. Barring injury he'll never be a GDA. He's shown glimpses of being a serviceable backup but not much more. He's still PS eligible (I think). Stash him on there. If he's not or gets picked up find another guy like him just like last year. I'm really not a fan of keeping a third QB in general unless it's a HIGH upside guy and especially not anymore with the new 46 man GDA rule.

i'm sorry but I can't understand the love thrown at QJ. If he was such a good crusher in the run game, how come we still need to pass on 3& 3? Potential doesn't win games, performance does!

-8 OLinemen and 5 TE's? I get that the OLine back-ups suck for the most part, but the TT needs to pick up another player or two off the wire for depth there.

-Harrell really hasn't earned a spot, especially w/his ball control issues. So, there's another option if you have to keep ALL the TE's, Aaron.

Whatever happens with the 53, here's a little perspective...

Listening to Sports talk radio out here and the Seahawks have been less than impressed with their 1st round pick RT James Carpenter, so now there's a full fledged battle for the 'STARTING' RT spot between Carpenter and... wait for it... BRENO GIACOMINI!!! That's right folks. BRENO! So whatever happens with our 53, I feel lucky that we have the depth and talent that we do to choose from... DAMN LUCKY.

Oh, and I give Lee's spot to West. 6 WR's 9 DB's.

i think harrell stays because flynn may go next year. i think gurley stays and i think crabtree goes.

Brad Jones has to stay at least until Zombo is back, and why would we need 6 receivers when we have flexible tight ends that are more talented than Gurley or West? Finley, Quarless, Williams and Taylor can all split out wide. I like the list as constructed.

Possibly Underwood out, because of off-field problems, for another lineman but that's it.

I think other teams gm's would be wise to read this string. Perhaps loose lips sink practice squad dreams.

Hate to say it, but Crabtree should get the axe before West, Gurley, or a utility O-lineman.

He's a hell of a character, but without twitter, he'd probably already have been cut.

Keeping 5 tight ends on this roster is nonsensical.
