Life After Favre

Just a heads up that tomorrow nights broadcast of Packer Transplants will be coming to you live from Kettle of Fish, without question the preeminent Packers bar outside of the confines of the Motherland, and will feature special guest Phil Hanrahan, the author of "Life After Favre" the book that chronicles the first Packers season After Favre.
Scheduled to hit the shelves on October 5th (Why do I feel like I have something going on that night?) Corey and I were delighted to learn that Cheesehead TV gets a mention in the book and we were thrilled to be hand-delivered copies by Phil's agent last week. Having had the chance to read it, I can recommend it unreservedly to anyone who visits Cheesehead TV with any regularity or indeed, the greater Packer Blogosphere.
So if you're in the New York area, hope you can make it down - watch this space tomorrow for an exact time, but make sure to get there early and order a beer or twelve as we get ready for the showdown in Minneapolis next Monday night.

I have started reading Life After Favre, and am really enjoying it. Now, it's my first book about football, and it's about the Packers, so I'm not really all that surprised. Have fun tomorrow night!

I actually ordered "Life After Favre" and it is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow to my house. I don't think I'll get the whole book in before the blogcast, but I'll be desperately searching to see if I happen to be cited in there, also. ;-)

You know what's better than beer and Packer talk at Kettle of Fish?? Beer, Packer talk, and 45 CENT pizza from Ray's Pizza!!
Apparently, tomorrow is Pizza day in NYC, and Ray's has a promotion for 45 cent pizza all day!! I HIGHLY suggest you check it out...It's only eight locations though. Just looking out for you guys! See you tomorrow!!
