Thanks for that analysis, Aaron. Do we know what prompted OK State to move him off DE and into off ball LB?
Did they blitz often with backers and felt he could patrol and pressure from there?

33rd Team him as a “spinner” who is capable of playing inside and has flashed but never had the chance to learn the position. Properly and who can designated rush. He’s only 5 pounds lighter than Fackrell was. Maybe a similar role? He can cover from the DE position.

The Packers must see something and have a plan to take him that high. Every scout I’ve read has a UDFA grade on him, but we clearly wanted him for more than STs to draft him that early. Maybe Gute/a scout will shed light on this one.

We don't know what the Packers plan - truer words have seldom been uttered.

Zah Frazier was sitting on the board when GB took Oliver. I thought he was intriguiing. 130 on the consensus board. went 169th.

Denzel Burke is not my cup of tea but as a zone only guy but he was available. 121 on the consensus board. Went 174th.

They plan to add a big DT to the room in Warren Brinson. Wow he's big...6'5" 315.

The last three picks have been high ceiling developmental prospects for the Defense. Two DE's in Sorrell and Oliver and DT Brinson.

Brinson looks like a football player to me. He has improved every year as a back up DT for a deep GA team. Mountain Man.

Oliver has speed and explosion and led his team in sacks in '22 and '23 as a DE in a 4-3 and an OLB in a 3-4. He's only 6'2" and 250 but expect he will get the chance to prove he's a DE in GB.

I do like Sorrell. I watched some of his video and what impressed me was his balance and play strength. He's going to be in the rotation. Enagbare and Van Ness are going to be challenged by Sorrell and Cox, Jr.
