I just enshrined his Jersey on my packers wall. Reggie White, Brett Favre, Arron Rodgers, Bart Starr. This isn't about nothing. It's about greatness. Something management doesn't know anything about. What the hell did they do? Murphy will be lucky to retire with any honor. And what about Gute. Congratulations are in order from all the owners.

Given that AR just said that the Love pick wasn't the cause of his issues with the team and that he loves Love, what did the FO do here? AR's statement about "doing things the right way" and calling out the team's culture as the problem is not backed up by anyone else - no other players have complained about this (esp. those who've recently left via FA). If no former players back up these statements, then this is just bullshit, with AR manipulating the press and the fans (like yourself) who revere him more than the team.

I live in Denver now, originally from GBay. I was at Dick's Sport store and wearing a GB Packers shirt. 2 guys were saying how they would love to have Rodgers on their NFL teams and how us Packer fans are spoiled with having 2 great QBs

We all agreed that Packer mgt sucks..to put it mildly.

And I'm tired of listening to Denver sports radio with all their scenarios of getting Rodgers. Some of them talk pretty confident that he'll be playing for Denver.

If you’re a Packer fan, Amy, don’t be afraid. Rodgers is going in another direction. The Packers have no choice but move forward & keep winning Super Bowls. It’s what we do.

OK rodgers you missed out on $500,000 by being a diva. How about showing up and giving that money to charity or soup kitchens Etc. Think of someone else for once.

Duneslick, Rodgers has given nearly $2 million to small businesses in California that were struggling through the pandemic.

How about you pay attention for once. Thanks, Since '61

Not a good sign. Hard to figure out what is truly going on, but my gut tells me he will get traded very soon. Love probably is not ready, but he could be under center to start the season. Whether it’s Love or Bortles, there’s a huge drop off from how the team has performed these past two seasons.

I know Rodgers may legitimately want out of GB at this point, but he also may be thinking that, at the very least, he can use his grievances as an excuse to skip all the offseason stuff and not show up to the second week of training camp (give or take).

The NFLPA urged all players to skip the voluntary OTAs and Rodger stated on the Pat McAfee show that he believed his arm was in a much better, more rested place because there were no OTAs last year.

It is not a big deal. #12 is all about #12. The OTAs are voluntary, so those who stay away are not really about a SB...they are about the next deal. MVS & Lazard staying away is curious. Maybe trying to kiss some #12 booty? Who knows? I think Love and Bortles would like to throw to both in drills. But perhaps both think they are locks on the 55.

But making this week an exercise for players who want to get better with, you know, practice and getting to know, the TEAM...is a great measure of team first guys.

Where did you see a list of players in attendance, LambeauPlain?

Yes, there were 10 Packers who did not attend OTA's according to Rob D.

All 5 of the top ranked WR's, ARod, Bakhtiari, Jaire, and another CB or two.

Well, whenever you’re starting something difficult, it’s nice to have your leaders there. I mean, if you want to lead, you’re there, right?

Why would he go to Denver when they are willing to trade GB their best defensive player and first and second rounders for the next 3 years, there will be no talent around him.

Denver does have some very good WR's (Jeudy and Sutton), and a star in the making with Noah Fant at TE.

If the trade occurs than the Packers for no other reason than to negatively impact Rodger's has to get one of those three back in exchange. The more and more I think about it of the three the one who would help GB the most would likely be Noah Fant at TE.

Memo to A.R.
You are over playing your hand. You should know this from watching your predecessor. He thought he was larger than the team, he thought by spitting on the team he'd get his way. To this day many want the No.4 jersey torn down and burned, you don't want to go there. It's time to suck it up, your team mates deserve better the TEAM'S FANS deserve better and I'd rather put out the fire before burning another jersey. Make no mistake, GB fans don't want to, but they will turn on you, if it hasn't started already.

I said this in response to another comment but want to put this here as well. The Players Association asked all players to skip voluntary OTAs. Couple that with Rodgers telling Pat McAfee his arm felt better during the season because he did not do OTAs last year, it easier to understand why he and other packers would not attend.
Second, I believe Rodgers statement about Love is being misinterpreted. When he said this wasn’t about the Love pick, I believe he is talking about Jordan Love specifically. He appears to like Love. But it is about how the pick was executed where he appears to take issue.
Third, the parties involved appear to still be negotiating. The best way to screw up a negotiation is to talk about it outside of the parties negotiating.
Fourth, it is unfair to assume motivations of any of those involved until this is resolved. Deciding for someone else what they are thinking is rarely useful.

Yes, context is everything here. The NFL and the Packers organization is still dealing with the aftermath of Covid-19, and the collapse of the Cap. That left the Packers, and NFL teams with far less room to maneuver in the short term. And the new TV contract does not kick in for another two years. Just one of the many factors that are out of the Packers, and Rodgers control.

Oh, I don't think it's that big of a deal. Rodgers is a professional and should pick up Denver's playbook pretty quickly in June and July.

Team chemistry is at an all time high in Green Bay. No thing to discuss. This is not going away. It’s going to become an epic shitshow as the fans go at each other’s throats over who’s the problem. For fucks sake, it’s only May, and we already have a huge soap opera. Rich men playing us all for suckers.
