Gut Reactions: Week 6

Aaron's gut reactions from the loss to the Dolphins.

  • I am officially sick of the Packers
  • For every positive play there seems to be three or four terrible ones. And we keep seeing the same mistakes from the same people, over and over and over and over again.
  • That said, the defense played better than I expected it to with so many guys down on the defensive line.
  • But the three man rush has got to go.
  • Aaron Rodgers looks very, very average.
  • As does Mike McCarthy.
  • Greg Jennings finally got some chances and made the most of them.
  • Liked seeing Brandon Jackson get involved early.
  • Can we stop running screen plays for John Kuhn? Please?
  • As egregious as the non-call was on what should have been a spearing penalty against Rodgers, he needs to shake that off, get up and keep playing. WAY too much complaining to the ref. Shut up and play.
  • This officiating crew, however, was terrible.
  • This feels like 2008 all over again except instead of finding ways to lose close games in regulation, they are finding ways to lose close games in overtime.
  • The season is FAR from over - and this team turned in a yeoman-like effort in face of all the injuries - but if Clay Matthews is out for more than one more game, the Packers may not get another sack until after the bye-week.
  • I'm just sick of watching the same mistakes over and over and over and over. Did I say that already?
  • The season is not over - it just feels like it.

Hard to keep this in perspective but the season isn't over. The division is just as dysfunctional as ever and if the Vikes lose today we have a crazy amount of breathing room.

I was actually dreading watching this game. It's gotten to the point where I know I'll just be frustrated if I watch it.

The thing is, I'm pretty sure the whole NFL feels that way right now. It's to the point where only 3 or 4 teams should feel good about themselves. Every other team has glaring holes and weaknesses that are exploited consistently. And the Bears still suck.

"I am officially sick of the Packers... For every positive play there seems to be three or four terrible ones. And we keep seeing the same mistakes from the same people, over and over and over and over again."

You may want to get that patented because it would sell VERY well in the state of Wisconsin.

They can definitely turn it around, as we saw on offense last year. But what does 9-7 or 11-5 get us in the playoffs? A bunch of road games and diminishing chances of getting past the divisional round. I'm just sick of this team wasting opportunities like a bunch of talented pretenders.

It's also possible we haven't seen rock bottom yet a la 2008. I thought the defense started admirable at the start of that season too considering the circumstances, it's just everything compounded and got much worse.

I agree. The season isn't over but this week the loss seemed to affect me a lot more than last week.

Last week I just was like, 'bleh...' and brushed it off. Which was unusual for me and a Packers loss.

Today I just feel like this afternoon really sucks. If the VIqueens win, man. . .it's going to be a terrible Sunday.

This is coming from a guy who was at Camp Randall last night watching the students rush the field after upsetting #1 Ohio State.

I still have faith in the Pack, we need to get healthy and learn to give extra blocking help where it's needed. That made me insane today.

Defense played great minus the lack of a pass rush. I was not surprised when the defense couldn't get a sack. Henne could have pulled out a folding chair, sat down, ate a sandwich and then stood up to throw with all the time they gave him.

Looks to me like our upcoming schedule is much tougher looking than in recent years.

I am disgusted--just plain and simply disgusted.

I do like that for the 2nd week in a row, Brandon Jackson worked damn hard...too bad we don't see more of him, especially when AR is getting absolutely mugged. Anyone notice BJ's average YPC (especially with that god awful O-line) vs Marshawn Lynch's?? Enough of that BS already. RB is the least of this team's worries.

Right ?
NO !
They're hideous.

They can never, ever get ONE play where they look like they've beaten their man, run the play as diagrammed, and made a decent run.

So many running plays start off looking like a trap -- until you realize that the OLine has just been man-handled, and pushed behind the LOS.

Is it the players?
Campen?
Thompson?

Good assessment, but this season IS over. Mr. McCarthy (does not deserve the title of coach) has NEVER demonstrated any kind of adaptive ability. If the team had stayed healthy, he might have been able to make the playoffs. Why do you think he takes the ball every coin toss? He cannot make any kind of adjustments, so getting it after halftime would be a waste. He does have a talent for making sure the orange slice and capri suns are ready before the 2 minute warning though.

Can we start officially calling for MM's head now? If this keeps up this way no way he should be coaching this team after this year.

For example Lovie Smith has no business coaching the Bears after this year but if they keep winning without winning he will be back again (granted I know they lost today, but he still insists that they have a good team).

Sorry for the Bear talk, all I hear living in the NW Burbs.

Agreed on the officiating. When there are non-calls like the helmet to chin on AR12 combined with the "lining up over the center" call, when Francois was a yard off the LOS, it creates the impression that the officials are artificially altering the outcome of games.
Still, that's one what beat us today, as far as the deciding factor.
I thought the defense played awesome, despite having lost Clay.
It's the offense that cost us this game, as usual. They're finding ways to use Jackson effectively, so that's a positive.
But the problem is that MM seems to never have heard of the concept of "time of possession." (Which is particularly shocking when our biggest playmaker is out for the game.)
Also, despite being an ostensibly WCO team, they sure seem to throw deep all the time. I mean ALL the time. Which is not only fundamentally unsound, but particularly so when your QB is getting mauled. (And when it's apparently legal for teams to put their helmets on his chin.)
This game wasn't lost due to injuries, but due to the offensive philosophy, or lack thereof. Lack of fundamentals philosophically, penalty-wise and well then there's James Campen and Slocum. Another key shank my Masthay today.

Everyone needs a little time to developed. They pulled the plug too early on Ryan thinking he would be average forever. Now they pay the price. Hopefully, this one will get better with time. But we can't keep having a revolving door at the position. Either let the guy develop for a few years, or go get a solid FA. Doh! Sorry, shoudn't have said that last part.

I know, one loves to bash Capers, but he wasn't outcoached at all. He was without his best pass-rusher and, two key DLiners and still the D# held up incredibly well. There was nothing wrong with the the playcalling either (the 3 men rushes aside), the TE screen was just brilliant. That stuff happens.
Generally I don't think we were outcoached in any phase of the game. It's just a combination of a struggling OLine, Rodgers (once again) doesn't get rid of the ball in time and miscues at the WR position (the INT is as much Jones' fault as it is Rodgers', Drops by Nelson, Jones).
The only aspect of coaching I'd like to critize is not giving Bulaga enough help. He held up well for 3 Q's but than Wake beat the hell out of him. Just let Crabtree or Jackson help him a little.
ARodg didn't look too average to me, I mean, really beside his indeceisivenes on some throws he played pretty well tonight. Especially without Finley. (The gametying drive was a HUGE effort of his)
The 3rd downs are what kills us offensively. Too much penalties, too much sacks for convertable down and distance consistantly. Not just today. Those short series extincts any rythm.
And from now on out, get the ball to GJ85 and not Jones.

How can you say "3 man rushes aside" and say he wasn't out coached? That's exactly why I think he laid an egg today, how can you rely so heavily on a 3 man rush without Pickett, Neal, and Matthews? Granted, they were in max protect for a large portion of the game but Capers HAS to find a way to garner some sort of pressure on Henne and i'll be damned if our best option was rushing 3 guys. Where's the creativity? At least TRY to figure out ways to get pressure. Oh well, I'm not going to harp on it because this loss hurts too much. One thing's for sure though, we need guys to get healthy ASAP, or this is going to be 2008 all over again.

As for the Offense and Mccarthy, in what world does it make sense to continue going empty set when your QB is getting killed Mike? How could you not give Bulaga any help when he is getting embarrassed? How could you not stick with the running game even when your having success doing so? Plus, your Defense is completely gassed with the way the Dolphins were controlling the clock. Jackson has 22 carries for 168 yards the past 2 weeks, that's 7.6 YPC. Take away his 70-something yard run and he's STILL averaging over 4 YPC.

Rodgers has become the anti-checkdown king. He's starting to become overconfident in his escape ability and is too anxious trying to make the big play. Where were the 2 TE sets today? I love spreading Defense's out by going 5-wide as much as anybody, WHEN IT'S WORKING, but it's not working and your QB is getting blasted. Time to get back to the basics Mike, because what you're doing out there just isn't cutting it right now.

One reason It's looking like 2008 - Barnett isn't in there again. He was a mean player and will be missed more than many think.

Screen to Kuhn shades of Paul Ott Caruth. And the three fullback formation that ...surprise, surprise, turns into a pass play. Nobody is fooled by a one dimensional O.

This TEAM looks very, very average.

Capers is an above average but not great defensive coordinator. The difference between Capers and Fitz Shurmer is much much greater than the difference between Capers and Bob Sanders. The injuries definitely suck, but even before the injuries the Packers defense looked average at best.

Which leads me to:

You go for 2 at the end. I don't give a flying donkey what the hell the "card" says or whether conventional wisdom is play for overtime at home. You cannot count on this defense to stop anyone. Ever. That's not to say the defense never stops anyone, that is to say you cannot count on them.

That said:

The defense gets a three and out in OT... and, oh yeah, the offense isn't very good either.

Still, you go for two in that situation. Two points and you win.

I was saying the same thing when it was going on: you have to think about going for 2 to end the game right there. I wouldve been fine if he went for it and failed. I think the rest of Packer Nation probably sends death threats though...but I knew we'd lose in OT so to me its worth the risk. The D was gassed...you can't keep forcing them out there and expecting them to suceed because your "high powered offense" cant even sustain a drive.

It's really quite frustrating to watch the o line play. They were pretty bad today and at the times when they were good, A Rod would step up right into the defensive players. The defense though looked really solid (outside of the pressure) but were a bit weak on runs right down the gut. I'm pretty scared to see what will happen next week when we try to stop AP. I just hope that Pickett and Neal come back next week and we can stop using T.J. freaking Lang on our defensive line. The play calling on offense is also really frustrating because even without a 71 yard run this game he still had like a 4.4 ypc average this game and we've got to start running the ball more. This is the second game in a row in which we were DOMINATED in TOP.

another thing is what the f is up with the reigning defensive player of the year? it seemed as though he was either on his back or committing penalties all afternoon!

our D is pretty soft but i think they played mediocrely (is that really a word?) enough for us to win today. just like they did last week. our offense is just pathetic on 3rd down.

i also agree that MM was totally outcoached and cannot seem to grasp the "feel" of a game as it is happening.

This is not the first week, either... he's been playing as if they don't call that stuff on DPOYs.

Sadly, he hasn't necessarily had to do it in most cases.

I wwent into the game thinking there was just too many injuries to overcome to win. The thing that bums me out is we still had a hell of a chance even with all the adversity.

This division is still well within our sights. Some good fortune on the injury front and we're right there. 12-4? No. But I'll take 10-6 and the division.

It's halftime right now in the queens game, they need to lose.

Fitz, I love your optimism but this an 8-8 team at best. No way do they go 10-6. The offense isn't performing. The defense without Clay Mathews in the game is allowing the opposing QBs to have all day to throw. Our Special Teams look like they came from Special Class. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they ride the "short bus" to the games. Home field advantage doesn't seam to be much of an advantage. Where do you see those 10 wins coming from? Hell, the Lions look as good as the Packers. Frankly, I think they have more of an upside this year than we do. And penalties just keep killing us.

What's killing me is that in all three losses the banged up defense has kept the opposing team's score low enough for the Packers to win. So where's the vaunted offense? Pulling on my Captain Obvious cape, if they manage even 21 points in each of those three losses, they are 6-0. So what gives? I guess you have to pin it on A-Rod for making bad decisions, and on the staff for making the wrong calls.

They're running a hybrid "Tom Rosseley"/Raider downfield passing attack. They probly figure they should get away from the WCO, because it requires you to burn clock by moving the chains in drives that require more than 5 plays without a penalty.
Sure would be nice to get the ball out of Arodge's hands though. Que cera.

Yeah, and that's the problem. More discipline, fewer penalties, and the WCO would be fine. You can use the down-field, but then don't you have to set it up with a credible and consistent running game? What's going on right now just defines my limited football logic.

I don't follow this at all. Does a below avg. QB make the pass to Jennings? Hold up despite getting hit or sacked 15 times, some of which were CLEARLY illegal?! Perhaps you weren't watching the same game I was. If Rodgers had even a quarter of the protection Henne was getting, he'd have thrown 7 TDs. Hyperbole intended. In my opinion the blame for this loss is on MM. If Arodg is getting killed and Bulaga is struggling, adjust the protection and the routes. Simple. And once again, Jackson only gets 12 carries? Seriously...

I guess we were watching different games. I saw a happy-feet quarterback who didn't have the sack to stay in the pocket and deliver. I saw a guy who looked at the pressure the entire game and made errant passes. I saw a guy who's scared, who's rattled and who should have been pulled in the second half.

That's who I saw.

Exactly. Thank you, threefold. According to ESPN's stats, Rodgers was hit or sacked on just under 40% of pass plays. That doesn't include hurries and general pressure. I don't blame him if he gets antsy. The team needs to settle Arodg's nerves by giving more protection and more safety valve routes. Also, who do we need to bribe to get a penalty flag when a guy channels Bill Goldberg on Rodgers? I suppose our opponents will be getting an all too late fine this week again.

the (alleged) 4th down stop by the Pack -- was a bad call.

made all the worse by the review.

don't know why it is that Hochuli makes such bad calls, even when they're reviewed.

To say this has anything to do with Thompson is downright moronic and uneducated. The blind hatred some "Packer fans" have for Thompson is so ridiculous. Our sub-par play has NOTHING to do with Thompson's personnel decisions, if anything, it shows how deep our team is that we're even in games right now w/ the injuries. Dating back to the start of this offseason, we were down Jolly, Bigby, Harris, Grant, Chillar, Barnett, Matthews, Pickett, Finley, Tauscher, Morgan Burnett. That's 11 starters/key impact players, yet we are still able to field a competitive team. Open your eyes, on field execution and poor coaching has EVERYTHING to do with our slow start, not our lack of personnel.

Brett,

You can disagree, that's cool.
But it's not cool to call someone a moron or that they're not educated.

Because?
That's simply your OPINION (not FACT, although after you type awhile, you get confused.)

Perhaps I'm being a little tongue-in-cheek with my comment about Ted...
Perhaps you take this shit a little too seriously...
Perhaps none of this makes a damn bit of difference...

I apologize, no need for the name calling on my part. A little on edge from the game still. I just don't get how anyone can say our poor play is on Ted Thompson, like how? We're missing half our team yet still finding a way to be competitive with 3rd stringers and UDFAs playing a large role. How many teams can say that?

Hochuli defended himself according to comments on the GBPG. According to him, it's a penalty if the guy over the center is within ONE YARD of the center. I rewound the replays and Francois' foot was beyond one yard. In fact, it looks like he intentionally made a point to be beyond one yard because the ball was just before one hash mark, and his foot was just beyond the next one.

It's dumb to push the envelope like that, but it still shouldn't have been a penalty. Might have been worth a challenge, actually.

Hey, slick:

Is the post titled "Post Game Analysis: Week 6"?

No? It's not?

What did you say? Oh, it's titled "Gut Reactions: Week 6"?

Hmm. That's strange. The title makes it sound like the article is about the immediate emotional response to the game that just concluded, before any time was taken to reflect on, dissect, and analyze the game. Oddly enough, that's exactly what the post is. And, if you've ever taken the time to notice, within 24-48 hrs, Nagler re-watches the game and writes up a more analytical take on the events of the game.

Now you should apologize to the man for being such a tool.

I'm officially sick of people who are officially sick of the Packers. The record, yeah, me too. But I'm tired of looking at the fact this team is DECIMATED and is trying so hard to stay in. We've got some good people. We've got a lot of problems. Got it. But I'm behind these guys. Get on board.

Foundinidaho-

the DEFENSE is decimated. The Offense is far from decimated.

No one is (Well, at least not me) troubled by the play of the decimated defense- which is missing Al Harris, Atari Bigby, Morgan Burnett, Brandon CHillar, Nick Barnett, Clay Matthews, Mike Neal, Ryan Pickett, Justin Harrell, Derrick MArtin, etc, etc..

A lot of people are really troubled by the sputtering offense, which is now officially missing Finley, Grant, and Tauscher. Bulaga struggled today, true enough, but the RB's have been performing as well or better than RG usually is at this time of year, and while Finley is a loss, we are supposed to have such a talented stable of WR's and a great QB that it should be no more than an inconvenience.

I'm not "Sick of the Packers", but I have very little faith in their ability to play at a high enough level to win right now.. And it has very little to do with the injury situations. If anything, that's a small bright spot for this team- the way the defense has played through with such a decimated roster. The offense, however, has been costing the Packers wins, and they are relatively healthy.

Oppy, the line is not blocking. Part of that is aging...now we have a rookie and we should have had guys Who are good ready to step into Tausch and Clifton's shoes eons ago...Colledge is inconsistent, and we lost Grant and Finley. Huge losses. Decimated as a team. I stand by it. Yes, we're mediocre. There are good reasons for it. Including coaching. I'm not letting anyone's subpar performance off lightly. I think the decimated defense also causes some of the offensive problems, in a very odd way.

Agreed. We had a team of second and third stringers that played their hearts out, and lost in overtime to the Dolphins, no push overs. There were a lot of glaring problems, but on top of those were shining moments by the backups. There's always hope, and fixing the mistakes, in theory, is the easy part. The entirety of the roster playing their hearts out, that's important. Don't give up hope, show 'em boys we're behind them and pump them up! Packer Nation, baby!

Hey Found,
If everyone is either A)officially sick of the packers, or B) officially sick of those that are officially sick of the Packers, aren't we all a little sick? I guess you can not be sick of the Packers officially and not be sick of those that are sick, but you would need to be very well indeed.

I myself am going to forget the past 4 weeks and focus on next Sunday night. I will be sucked in to the talk and analysis and will start to believe. I will either be crushed or elated. And then I will wander around aimlessly during the bye week wondering why can't my Packers play this week?

My only comment is this: Bulaga is not a right side lineman, at least not yet. He doesn't look comfortable over there and I'd rather he play LG or LT than what's starting right now. I think Lang is more comfortable on that side and played well there toward the end of last year. Bench someone on the left and let Bulaga play there, over there it's an improvement, on the right, it's not. That's all i have time for, back to studying the high stakes world of international finance.

I agree here. Lang can do what Bulaga did today. Sit Colledge. move Bulaga to LG. Let lang play RT.

I disagree with whoever said Rodgers isn't playing well.
He gets hit pretty much every play. Whenever I watch other games I am amazed at how much time qb's have. Imagine if Rodgers actually got a chance to drop back and go through progressions. It's a combo of the line, poor/predictable play calling, not staying "ahead of the chains", and Rodgers always being "nervous".

I think a big problem with the offense is actually the defense. While they may not be giving up a ton of points, they just can't get their asses off the field. How's the offense supposed to get into a rhythm when the t.o.p. is so lopsided? Seems like every game the other team runs twice as many offensive plays as the Packers.

I understand people being frustrated with the team being out of synch, but really - how are they supposed to get any cohesion going when every week there are 3 new guys in the starting line-up?

MM and his coaches definitely have their work cut out for them.

It's gonna be interesting to see if this team implodes or finally starts to get their shit organized.

Thank goodness the NFC blows this year.

So...gotta say that I was kind of expecting this loss, especially after that opening Miami drive. The battered offense got some points with a qb who's obviously going to be more skittish than normal, compounded by an o-line that did him no favors. The more battered defense performed admirably, except on runs up the gut, to be expected when we essentially have two healthy game-ready defensive linemen.

The sky's not falling yet. Let's just see how they do under the lights Sunday night, hopefully with Matthews, Pickett, and/or Mike Neal coming back.

I got to go to this game. The highlight of the day was spotting a T.J. Rubley jersey. I'm not kidding.

At what point does our offense find some rhythm? When does McCarthy give our porous o-line some help? When do we stop running Kuhn screens like they somehow belong? And who the hell took my beer?

Weird, as 1) Smith couldn't get any play time for the Rams when he was released from the Packers

Makes you wonder who/what the Packers did give up for him, must have been somewhat significant. I seriously hope Smith has cleaned up his gambling ways.

The most interesting thing about losses is reading the blogs and comments afterwords. If I had time I'd go through and count up how many different games took place today between Green Bay and Miami.

Kinda seems we're losing that "humble" small town team image as fans. We're spoiled by great teams and potential over the years. I might get blasted for this, but I remember the Infante years. A lot of teams are REALLY struggling right now. NOBODY has the injury problems we do, but other teams are much, much weaker in terms of their backup play. Our boys are playing their hearts out, and we're not out of it, yet. When things get tough, Packer Nation doesn't turn their backs in shame, we get louder, we get more passionate, and our team's pulse gets pumping. I'm tired of "fans" stopping being fans. The boys are in a tough spot. There's no quit in us, there's no quit in them. GO PACK, GO!

All Packer fans need to understand that 1. the team's statistics for all games in the last 3 years CLEARLY show the Pack fails to come close to being competitive in Q 4 of every game! Next - the same 3 year data shows that the Packer weakness has been "injuries to the O line and D backs". Lastly, the data shows that Q4 offensive production is well below NFL average.
Obviously, MM has never modified his O calls to reflect the talent of the personnel he has at any given time! The idiot has openly said he doesn't even have a screen pass in the play book. Every winning coach has numerous screen passes in their book to slow down the defensive line. SO MIKE - can you figure out the play calling needs to change with the our injuries and the vulnerability of the other team.

SHIT. THE. BED.

(ya, I know. And I haven't drank in nearly 9 years--and days like today don't make it easy)

Still hate the play calling. With a defense that is masacred, don't you try to keep em off the field and try for some sort of ball control?? Sure, there were a few more screens, I guess, but what, 17 runs? QB getting creamed--run the ball!!
MM is one seriously stubborn SOB.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet, but was anyone else questioning the clock management on the last drive in regulation? It turned out OK, but man with 3 time outs, not using one and running the 4th down play before th 2 minutte warning was curious.

Then the decision to kick it short was almost suicidal. Then they didn't throw it long with 4 seconds left...WTF?

I should just cut and paste, week after week. Put in an OL that give AR 4 seconds wihtout feel of getting killed (can you say preseason w/o blitzing) and we look great.

Take a C that was supplanted 2 years ago and can't help, a LG we have been killing for three years and is not a source of any strength in either the running or passing game, two OVER THE HILL tackles and a newbie getting the first tast of the NFL and "the best passing game in the NFL" looks pathetic. ITS NOT THE PLAYS. ITS THE EXECUTION. AND YOU CAN'T EXECUTE if you don't block. Its not Jennings, Driver, Nelson, Jones, Quarless or Lee. An excellent RB might make something out of nothing, but GB is not not scoring because of BJ. It's the OL, the OL, the OL.

"Our sub-par play has NOTHING to do with Thompson’s personnel decisions, if anything, it shows how deep our team is that we’re even in games right now w/ the injuries" ....

He's undeniably GREAT AT DRAFTING (close your eyes for Jordy and Justin)......BUT sucks the BIG ONE in the FREE AGENT market. Non-existent on trades...oh wait, WE GOT ANTHONY SMITH!!! Randy Moss, BEWARE!

I'm really getting sick of how predictable we are. For example, when we line up in shotgun every team knows we are going to pass. I just saw the Colts run in the shotgun formation. I really wish the Packers would do that at least a few times so that teams don't automatically know that we're going to throw it whenever we're in that formation. Then again, you probably need a back with speed to run it out of the shotgun formation and with Jackson and Kuhn, we just aren't fast enough to do that. Still I would like to see some different looks on offense because it's pretty obvious when we're going to run and when we're going to pass.

A step in the right direction would be to fire Slocum. Special teams sucked again today and penalties, like blocking in the back in OT on a punt return are inexcusable. And for God's sake, bring in a punter, any punter, that can average over 40 yards without hitting line drive punts. Is that too much to ask?

Where do I start? As a P fan for over 40 years, I am distressed (extreme anxiety, sorrow & pain) for what I am witness to this season. With just a few seconds left to win at home, MM decides to lose by not going for the win. I am so frustrated by the lack of intelligent play calling, poor execution, and just plain lack of football knowledge. My brain almost exploded into millions of gelatinous goo parts at the endless stupidity forced upon our Packer nation by the lack of vision shone by this organization, starting from the top and stopping short of the end zone. No more excuses for this lack of offensive behavior, oh yes, not to mention defensive mind blockage. This team is poorly coached and badly run and needs serious attention to move in a positive direction for the future. Please Packer Nation, use your eyes and brains, then your hearts. Enough already!!!!!

Was anyone actually surprised that the Packers lost when the game went to OT? For me the game was over right there and then. The depleted defense was on the field far too long up to that point. I know people would have killed McC if he had gone for 2 after the last TD and it had failed, but it would have been the right call. Show your offense it's all about them performing, and give the D a break. But as always the Packers go conservative.

This was an ugly game. I agree that the officiating was horrible. I don't know why Ed Hochuli wouldn't throw a flag when Aaron was speared. Packer animus? Did he try to make up for it when the Dolphins went for it on 4th down and "missed?" Aaron did not look sharp. Why wasn't Bulaga given any help on the right side of the line? Next up the 2-3 vikings. We better be more prepared for them than we were for the Dolphins.
