Finley Apologizes To Fans via Twitter

Everyone's favorite quote machine (everyone but Mike McCarthy that is) Jermichael Finley might, stress - might, be starting to get it. From his Twitter feed last night:
Let me clarify some of this media hoopla- I've stepped outof line and said some things that are foul and mad innapropriate.
But that's not me and I apologize to my fans. I'm dedicated to winning for gb that's it. Period
You like to see that.
He certainly seems to be sincere in his apology, and his Twittering last night was ephusive in it's praise of Green Bay and it's fans. Indeed, he asked all that follow him on Twitter to do the same for his wife, writing that if she gets a thousand followers, he and his wife would donate $1,000 to a charity in Green Bay to be chosen by the fans. It's a lovely gesture and should be enough to prompt those of you who have been resisting jumping on the Twitter bandwagon to come on board. I'll start paying attention when he starts showing it on the field. I know that certain people here think Jermichael is going to be a game-breaking tight end for us soon and will be making huge leaps forward this season but word from practices is he still can't catch an over-the-shoulder ball, still drops 'em more often than not and is still giving shtick to people unnecessarily. I'm sure Donald Lee does some great work for charity and also happened to catch five times more touchdowns than Finley last year, maybe he needs to start tweeting up some offseason attention.

Finley has inspired me to apologize to Herb Gama, who I got into trouble in second grade by laughing at the fake dog poop he snuck onto the teacher's chair.
